"Much the same as always. The bookshelf finally saw fit to give me a decent book and that singularly momentous occasion has been the highlight of my week." Such was the state of his life. While Bucky fought monsters, Laurie had won a minor victory against the bookshelf. Embarrassment caught up with him and he took a prolonged sip of tea, reddening somewhat.
