"Define... should," Tony said, watching to make sure the fire was at an appropriate level and wasn't going to go out on its own.

There was really small chance of that. In retrospect possibly he should have stoked it a little lower and maybe done it in one of the caves. The point was meant to be the exact opposite of burning down the island.

"Better stay back, let me just..."

He threw the bag he was holding at the fire. It was in theory, a chemical powder that would suppress it.

It exploded.

Tony leaned back slightly as the wave of heat went past, then touched his eyebrows, which appeared intact.

"...it wasn't meant to do that," he announced, swinging around to see who was visiting. Ah. Right. Complicated brain situation. "But the fire's out so I'm counting it."
