"And ain't that the chorus around this place," says Bucky with a low whistle, squinting a little as he takes a longer look around the place, eyes catching on something gleaming on the ground. Curious, he steps towards it, crouching down to pick it up. Despite all the scrap hanging around -- maybe because of it -- he's not expecting a bullet.

Palming it for the time being, he makes a show of looking at the spaceship from another angle, then stands.

"Not a whole lotta answers about anything," he adds, tapping his temple. "But maybe you can tell me something, anyway. Are we friends?"

If this place can make him forget Cap for even a handful of days, he figures no memories are safe.
